Jai having postioned the straps, what she hoped to be correctly on Jath, mounted and with a suddenly rebelious grin, urged him into flight.
With that Jath sprung into the air, swirling deftly on the way up, Jai lost in the thrill of it all. This was not like other flights on the dragons of other riders. She was flying!
Then as soon as it had started, she landed, and seeing she was being left behind some, rechecked the straps and remounted.
"Let's try going between..."
And as Jath took off once more with a powerful wingstroke, she visualized the place they were to go to, and they blinked between, remerging on the other side of the barracks.
