As soon as Katen saw the brown talon slicing through the tough eggshell, Katen focused fiercely on the brown. Mayhap it was for him, could it be? But worry began gnawing at him again, unlike for his brother, who had known he would Impress a green--and he had!

Then Katen saw the brown running at him, finally knocking him down. Quickly Katen got up to lock eyes with his lifemate.
My name is Tyenth, K'ten, you Impress me! I NEED FOOD!
K'ten gasped at the thought that he might have mistreated his beautiful brown. "Oh Tyenth, of course you would be hungry, having to wait so long," he said, walking urgently with Tyenth off to the feeding area.
