Subject: Kia gasps for air as she reaches the surface. She pulls Lia up behind her and checks for a pulse while treading water. Kia was taking long gasping breaths. Lia was still breathing but unconscious (sorry if that's an auto play but it would be kinda hard to do CPR in several feet of water) Once she gets her bearings Kia kicks off to the shallower part of the swamp where she would be able to stand up
