Kia unslung a bow from her shoulder and fired an arrow into the brush a short distance from where the creature was. She was hoping to scare it out of the bushes so that they could see what it was. -- Kia, 07:16:26 08/13/04 Fri

The arrow crashed in the bushes near the creature. He (the creature is now a he I've decided) moved away from the sound but not far. Through the bushes black and orange stripes were visable.
