When Skye opens the door, she sees a room, much like Nia. Because the door is now fully open, both investigators gain a much better view. The room is cluttered, and large furs cover most surfaces. At first glance, the room looks to be carved out of the tree, and most of the funiture is built into the walls, following the grain of the tree itself. The man's clothing is indeed brown and green, and the layers of dirt indicate that he doesn't change often. The room appears to be his home, which seems a bit unusual for Carnerik...

When Skye opens the door, she finds a very angry (but not terribly startled) man staring at her. A long skinning knife is in his hand, and his other hand is hidden from view of the door.

"Who are you, tre'passers?! Whaddya want?"

Skye stared at the man and not wanting to divulge their true intentions quite yet she replied "There have been some strange happenings in the forest and we saw your footprints and wondered if you had seen anything unusual." - The man lowered his dagger slightly, but made no move to invite them in, and he too looked ready for battle if the need arised, "Strange happenin's? You came into my tree because of strange happenin's? Get out, this is no playground, it's my home!" Since Skye is inside the doorway of the room, (the man would probably attack if she tried to get any deeper) she's the first to notice an obscure smell coming from under one of the draped furs...
