The alpha wolf stares with genuine surprise. ‘Every single one of you is willing to partake in this task? I do not know if you are brave or merely stupid. I have not told you what you will do. I have not guaranteed safe passage there or back. I never once assured any of you that my pack would not just kill you once this task is over. You'll still accompany us? This is your last chance.' He penetrates the minds of all in the clearing. Their resolve was indeed admirable. They were stupid mindless humans, but he was willing to overlook that for a while. ‘Very well.' With a bark, the more injured wolves limp away from the clearing. Now only six remain. One wolf walks over and stands by each human. Fenvir walks over to Lunae. The tiger had no assistance, as he was a brother beast. He would not be escorted, and he could do as he wished. ‘It pains me to say this, but we don't have much time left. You'll have to ride.' On silent command, the other wolves all rest on their stomachs, allowing the humans to clamber onto the backs. ‘Grasp our manes and hold tight. We'll not throw you.'

To everyone: As soon as we've all mounted, I'll be moving this whole thing up. It'll be underneath the title ‘The Swamp,' and the only players permitted will be you. Of course, I don't have the power to enforce that right now, but do keep that in mind. There may be a time where you all will be split up. If that happens, I ask that you only post underneath the thread that applies to you, and not start a new thread underneath the message. Does that make sense? It'll be like this:

Does that make sense? It's different, but I'd like to try it. If it doesn't work, we'll stop. This way the newest replies will not be on bottom, but that way you'll only read what applies to you, and no hidden plots or anything will be given away. Besides, it should actually be easier to see when you've been replied to, so it'll be easier to reply when you need to. On that note, I'm sorry for some of my spontaneous hiatuses. It's freaking hard to reply every single day, but I should pull off every other day without any sweat. I'll keep this up as long as I can, and as long as y'all are interested.

Okay, now for the reason I actually posted this OOC in here. These are the individual notes for when the wolves come and stand by you. The only person who won't get one is Lunae because she's already met her wolf-thing. His name is Fenvir, and he's the leader, as you all may already know. Here are the rest:

To Chaos: The wolf that walks over to you is reddish brown, and has one deep scar down the left side of his jaw. When he arrives, he grumbles quickly in your thoughts, ‘I am Revin. I will be your guide.' He seems to loathe you, as though you are a parasite and hardly worth his time.

To Kia: The wolf leaps over to you, hyper and enthusiastic. It's female, and seems to be rather young. ‘It's so great to meet a human! You're smaller than I thought you would be, though. My name is Asriae, and I'm gonna get to hang around with you!' She has light grey fur, with small patches of both white and black, giving her a mottled look.

To Terra: A large, black wolf comes up to you and sits down. He never looks you in the eye, and only speaks one word, ‘Brack.' You're guessing that to be a name, but you can't be certain. He doesn't seem to hate or like you, he just doesn't talk much.

To Lialye: A small, brown wolf walks over to you, limping slightly. It looks shy, and seems to not be as well fed as the others, ‘Hi. My name is Talen, and I think I'm supposed to support you. It's...nice to meet you.'

To Naverin: ((Welcome back! I hope that you can post more often, but if you can't just let me know. My goal is to get this updated for every other day, but I understand that such a demanding schedule can be difficult.)) The wolf that approaches you is completely white, with red eyes. It's an albino, and it stands out greatly amongst the others. It is small, with unusually slender paws and a longer nose. It looks more like a fox than a wolf, and its bushy tail does nothing to deny that suggestion. ‘I am Kal'nith,' the obviously female's voice is sweet and flowing, ‘I have been asked to aid you for a while.'


Lunae, Terra, Chaos, Naverin, Lialye, and Kia, right? I hope I didn't forget anyone!
