Tenji lay on the ground and stared quietly at the sky. She had spent considerable time tending to her wounds while silently cursing herself for leaving the rest to fight those strange life forms. And now lay alone while Keff analyzed the data he had gathered. It had however been harder as of late since the government tried to block the stray PhiaShips from the net. And it would take Keff ages to come up with all the pieces so that they would make sense...
The black had not managed to wound Tenji seriously. A huge bite mark on her chest, several claw marks around her rib cage and a flesh revealing wound by his blade on her lower back near her spine were her main concerns. It had been a very stupid thing to do. She had long ago learnt not to try to hammer herself into a heavier Tokathe. She had always relied on speed and if he had managed to slash sinews in her leg apart she would have been dead by now.. Although things could still get worse. Infections, more fights and what not. Life for those not posh enough was that of a slave. Either you work for the rich or you die. Betrayed by her own government. Almost instictively, Tenji slashed the air with her left arm, and regretted it immediately. A pain originating from her side surged through her body once more.
She had heard of the rebellion. Led by the old 'lower class leaders'. Trying to bring back the normal life the Etreusians had held. It was, in Tenji's opinion, an honorable cause, but she didn't quite think she could share that enthusiasm for improving the lives of those around her. Yet, living alone and fighting both civilians and the Council just was simply not appealing. And she felt obligated to last for Keff's sake..

Swiftly, Tenji's tail swept through the air, and she threw herself to her four feeth, groaning. Although Keff's instructions on how to bandage herself were detailed, she found that they did in no way replace consulting a specialist. At least when she felt like overdozing on pain-killers to sleep soundly. Quietly, she observed the sleek and well built ship. Keff had picked up some rumours about some members of the resistance residing near lake Arafette. It was a risk, of course. They might be shot down immediately. Or be welcomed. Or she could stay here. Alone.

Tenji calmly sat down, her ears patroling the surroundings for any odd sound while her eyes remained fixed on the PhiaShip. Was attempting to make contact with the rebels a risk she was ready to take now? Or should she wait?
