A sound to the left. Breathing rising in slow gradients of sound. A rasping hiss and a glint of indigo between russet leaves... and then the creature strikes. Female, and full grown at a serpentine ten feet long, her eyeless head arches up, leaning back into her body and emitting a low hiss of fury for encroaching on her territory... The shark like maw then races downwards with the screech of a banshee and the speed lightning.

And falls to her right at the last moment, her jaws left agape as silvery acidic blood pours from the back of her head, a hole just between the bony protective plates.

A black Tokathe blows the smoke off his gun and proffers the pilots a wry grin to contrast his haggard eyes.

"I hate Gylash."
