Arwen brushed a hand through her hair, "I have seen no one, I was hoping they had made it..now I fear the worst."
She bit her lip drawing blood and Jahae caught sadness radiate from the women. She laid her snout on 'Rwen's shoulder for a moment then gently wrapped a foreclaw about her.
Arwen looked down to hide the idea that everyone had been lost. Could they all be gone? Where she and Marithura the only ones left from that Impression?
She could only hope she was wrong.
What of the other generations of the Weyr?
Would this have made her the Queen?
She choked back a sob and threw herself against Jahae's chest, feeling the bass-like rhythm of the Kilven's heart.

Jahae could say nothing to her rider...nor could she say anything to Sarinor.
