Hello, all newcomers! Wow, I'm surprised. This was originally intended to be a one-on-one, but I suppose it just grew. And grew some more. Let me just state a few things:

I can't control how often you can get on to the internet, and if you look at some of my other posts you'll see I don't set the best example, but please try to post at least every other day here. Every 3 days is okay, but any more than that and you'll be somewhat left behind. Try to keep up, but I think we all understand if you slip a little. No worries.

That being said, I can't say how often we'll be posting. If everyone else in this thread is posting multiple times a day,I will too, and we'll be through this quest in a week.

Ah, yes. I forgot to say. This is a quest. Once you start, you cannot have your character suddenly vanish without permission. Please do not attempt to try. In case you haven't gathered, it's a sea based quest, so if you climb into that boat, I suggest you make yourself comfortable because you'll be posting with this group for a short while. (I also am not sure how long this quest will be, since I prefer the relaxed style of "have a basic idea, but make the details up as I go" sort of thing.)

Oh? You may have noticed that I'm sounding like I'm in charge of this thread, right? "But Victim, you're just a player!"

Well, just once, I wish someone would actually think that. Hello, it is I, Fate! Yay! I'm playing Victim as an NPC (he was originally a character of a good friend of mine, but I'm borrowing him for Carnerik...for now, anyway.) so he'll be a bit...brighter than normal. If he does some power playing I apologize. I'm trying to avoid it, but Victim as a person is actually pretty sweet.

Lesee...is there anything else? I forget sometimes...

Oh! That's one thing. I'm doing it for my Swamp quest, so I may do it here as well. If you guys preform really well, and survive, there is a small chance of a large reward. If those folks over in the forest survive, they're getting magical powers because frankly, they earned them. That thing is gonna be tough. I don't know how tough this will be, but I'll reward accordingly; I promise.
