Subject: {*whistles innocently*}

After the greens have taken to the air, T'ren leads his wing into fomration. He raises his fist, and brings it down, as Jeneth leaves the ground. The bronze soars into the sky with a speed that astounds his rider for brief moment. Fast, Neth. Jeneth doesn't bother to respond, and T'ren doubts that the dragon even heard. Jeneth's eyes are focused on the Thread, as are his body and mind. Nothing seems to penetrate the determination to char all the Thread, to allow none of it to reach the ground.

Glad of the safetly straps, T'ren releases his grip on the straps to fasten the top button of his fighting jacket- the button must have slipped out without his noticing. ~T'ren!~ His fingers slip the button in, and T'ren's eyes shoot up and forward. To the right, then! Jeneth turns his head to the right and breathes out a jet of flame. T'ren arcs his brows, having never seen his lifemate produce a flame as long, wide, and lasting as that one had been. Make sure you don't over do it, he warns. That had been a small clump, and really hadn't needed such a large flame to be thoroughly charred. Y'hear me? ~I did. I will.~ T'ren nods. Jeneth notices a path slightly in front of them that would pass the wing if they weren't to get it. He darts forward, breathing fire as he goes. That patch disintegrates, but the pair is left un-warned of the Thread falling on top of them. The first, longest strand hits T'ren's shoulder, and the rider lets out a mental cry of pain. As the reaction-delayed tears nearly begin to fall, Jeneth goes between. The tears are frozen, thankfully! and the Thread dies instantly. Right as they return from the cold, yet healing, place, Jeneth tilts on his left wing tip to avoid a patch that would have scored the tender wing membranes. Too bad we had to let that one go... T'ren thinks as Jeneth arches his neck to get a second clump that nearly falls on them. Thread fighting, Jeneth! ~Yes- over there, on your left!~ Jeneth interupts himself, warning a brown below. C'mon, Neth, let's get that next clump!
