Abruptly watching a bronze dragon land and his rider call for numbweed, Channa seizes the excuse to again ignore her friend's poignant question (even more deviously!). "Seye! Numbweed jar!" She projects an image of where her flitter can find it and he vanishes, reappearing seconds later. Channa snatches the small jar and races for the bronzerider.*
