A'rak shakes his head slightly, watching the action and feeling Viouth push him gently away. A clenching tense bearing in his mind is suddenly relieved as he feels Kadoth admonish him heavily. Are you CRAZY doing that?? You could have gotten yourself SO hurt! You're lucky she didn't eat you.

And I'm stupid for suggesting we move him. Lucky we've got them more trained than me, eh? Forgot healers can come out here, and go between and all. Usually we DO have to move them. He confides to Kadoth sheepishly, feeling the big bronze snort into his mop of curls. He watches as the Healer treats T'yin and tries his best not to flinch. "T'yin, you'd better get better, or else who's going to help with the training? And Viouth, you too. I won't even tell you to take care of him, you already do that. We can stay a little longer.." He feels a yawn wrack his tall frame and Kadoth grumbles slight disapproval.

We aren't staying rider mine. It's my job to look after you and see you rested. There's nothing more you can do right now. Viouth, if you could update me, he really needs his rest. The young bronze ushers his rider up with patient apologies toward the green. We won't crowd you two anymore for the moment. With a sinuous nod, the big dragon crouches and leaps quasi-gracefully into the sky, headed home to the barracks.

Thank you for not hurting him, Viouth, he is dear to my human. Shrineth sends mentally, the young gold sighing in relief alongside her human. Wessae grips Channa's arm almost reflexively and shuts her eyes.

"I'm glad she didn't hurt him. My brother is such a deadglow sometimes!! I thought for sure she was going to do something, she looks so upset."

I would not blame her, any dragon would share her sentiments. I am informed that your cousin is joining us in our Weyr. Blinking at the complete change of topic, the young woman tries to arrange her thoughts accordingly.

"R'tor, you mean? He's a third cousin...I think he's got distant family himself at Lemos. Hmmm. Channa, my cousin wants to stay at Igen. Third cousin actually. I hope it's okay with your sister, he's had all his training, isn't a weyrling anymore. He just turned twenty I believe."

Are you always this chatty when you're relieved? Shrineth inquires, slim head cocked to the side. At a nod from her rider, she relays the information to Wrelth. She's just relieved her brother's in one piece, so she'll be a regular babbling brook for a spell. Watching her brother head back to Igen, she gives a wave but stays put, watching the outcomes of Threadfall with grave curiousity.
