I agree...... to a point.

The FPS issue really only comes in to play on the low side of the scale. You really shouldn't see any difference with rates over 50 FPS, but if you are under 35, there is a big difference in reaction time. To become skilled, you train your reflexes to react on impulse without thinking. If different maps have a wide variation on FPS and it falls under 35 while others are running a 50, you are in for a world of hurt because everything is in slow motion (unless everyone else is the same way).

Several people on the Garage[ ] map confirmed their FPS took a significant hit. Well, if you normally play at 60 FPS, but now you're at 45, no dramatic play difference. The same cannot be said for going from 40 to 22.

I myself have noticed that I can occasionally run around other players and they take time to "react" to where I am. I can only assume they are suffering from high ping or low FPS and it has nothing to do with skill (of course, I wish otherwise).

That's not at all to say skill is not the most important component of the game. My kill rates have steadily climbed and I have noticed that overall, there are not as many "runaway" games as there used to be with one player killing twice as many as the next closest player. I see this as good for everyone's game and much more fun overall.

From your clan's perspective, I would say that this will only strengthen your entire team for matches against others. As well, DJ's new servers will really give you all that edge to do some scrimmage play and hone tactics to go to the next level.

Anyway, thanks for responding and sharing your experiences.
