(Scene opens in an eerily quiet arena better known as the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. People are sitting on there seats totally out of the game the Lakers haven't had the lead since the first quarter down to the Pacers 98-90 in the forth quarter only 5 minutes remaining, Jalen Rose has been lighting it up from everywhere leading the Pacers with 28 points, Reggie Miller just busted a 3 that silenced the Laker crowd. the Lakers have just called a timeout. The Lakers are huddled listening to the Zen Master Phil Jackson for the game plan the NBA now has the huddles microphoned so we can here what is going down.

Phil: There killing us with that double screen! Rotate! Rotate! Rotate! I don't care if Shaq has to guard Reggie. Now we got this ball we don't need to panic there's plenty of time left the ball goes through Shaq! Shaq if you swamped kick it back out we'll try and have a cutter to the basket so you can dish off. Lets Execute!!

(The Lakers huddle breaks out comes a much better scoring squad smaller but with Dale Davis fouling out the Pacers have nobody with Power so the Lakers can go small. Ron Harper the savey veteran is in at Point, Kobe of course in at shooting Guard, Glen Rice at SF and to the Surprise of everyone Trevon Curry at the Other forward instead of AC Green and Horry. Curry not having a great game at all, shooting 3 of 11 for only 9 points two free throws tacked on. Curry who's show moments of brilliance on the court his rookie year has also had the tendency to take bad shots and be a little physical with players getting himself in foul trouble. The Lakers crowd comes to there feet as the ball is inbounded to Curry he gets it back to Harper they come down court Rice has the ball fakes a jumper and passes it in to Shaq who in turn kicks it back out to Rice who is wide open for a 3 which he takes, it hits the front of the rim but Shaq is there to slam it back home!)

Costas: What a Play by Shaq you just can't defend him, he is simply to strong!

Collins: Your right Bob with Davis out there really weak, Smits has never been a phyiscal player and Perkins is not going to stop Shaq!

Costas: I don't think anybody Can!

(Indiana back up the floor they set up there various screens Reggin running around like a mad man trying to get free he does and the ball come to him Shaq comes charging over and leaps just as the shot goes in the air just grazing the ball sending it short into the hands of Kobe for the Rebound, Shaq barely touches Miller as he lands which sends Reggie Flopping around as if he was really fouled. There's no whistle and Reggie gets up whining to the offical. The Lakers back on offense feed the ball quickly back to Shaq who backs into the basket, the Pacers colapse on him 4 blue shirts around him, he then just passes the ball straight back to a cutting Kobe Bryant for an Easy Jam!)

Collins: How did that happen?! You can't swarm on Shaq and leave the backside open, that was so easy!

Costas: There seems to be this panic in the Pacers eyes whenever Shaq gets the ball! Lakers pull within four!

(Jackson takes the ball down court and the Pacers pass the ball around almost everyone touches the ball before the toss it into smits! he tries a baby hook, but hits all Iron and bounces into Shaq's hands Smits going for the ball fouls Shaq giving him his 6th and sending him to the bench as well. Hit The Road Jack plays over the PA System as Smits walks to the bench! Bird face is still the same as it always is emotionless. The Lakers slowly get the ball down court with about 3 minutes remaining Kobe goes through an elaborate array of dribbles then drives breaking some ankles on the way in he too is surronded and shoots the ball out to a wide open Ron Harper who launches a 3 hits nothing but the Bottom of the Net!
The Staples Center Explodes as the Lakers pull within one point the Crowd to its feet Chanting Defense!! Defense!!

Costas: Harper another Clutch shot!!

Collins: He's been killing them all Series!

(Jackson handling the ball hits Miller coming out to the Wing Reggin leaps faking the shot and passing to a wide open Jalen Rose who sinks the Three the sickeing swish hushes the Laker crowd again.)

Costas: Rose with the Answer and the Lakers just can't get over the hump they close within one and are denied the lead again.!

Collins: Rice is a liability on Defense I wouldn't be surprised if they switch Curry on Rose.

(Then with another mental lapse Rice passes the ball right into the arms of Croshere who tries to drive down court but is almost immediatly stripped by Trevon Curry who comes streaking the other way, he drives to the basket and leaps up to jam it but does a Magic Johnson like no look behind the back pass to Shaq in mid air who Rams the ball Rattling the Backboard Violently, he was even fouled on his way up so Shaq has a chance for a 3 point play!)

Collins: Terrible foul by Rose! There was nothing you could do to stop that and you just give the man a shot at a 3 point play!

Costas:Shaq who as been either Hot or Cold from the line has been his average self here tonight, making 8 of 18. Shaq who practices for hours a day on his free throw shooting has improved very minimal he only hits about 54 percent. Phil Jackson has said he's practicing a flawed technique and until he gives up and totally starts over he'll not be able to improve because its his shooting technique!

Collins: Yeah, I agree It very hard for big men to make free throws Wilt, Kareem were never great Free throw shooters its like trying to shot a tennis ball, there hands are huge.

(Shaq at the line he dribbles and and lets off a shot it hits the back iron but takes a little hop off the glass and goes in The Crowd breathes a sigh of relief and then goes bezerk!.)

Costas Lakers within One Again!

(Pacers Drive down court Comes streaking from under the basket to the corner, where he is immediatly his by Jackson with the Pass Reggie launches another one in hopes of quieting the crowd again but it bounces off the rim and over the backboard Lakers ball.)

Collins Reggie Rushed that shot , he was looking for the kill to soon!

(Lakers pass the ball in and a whistle is blow almost immediatly!)

Costas: Its the Hack a Shaq! with 2:11 remaining they got off one hack a shaq foul!

(Shaq goes to the line agains, he stares at the hoop his long time nemisis from the line, he shoots the first shot and it is flat and hits the front of the rim and bounces off! The crowd oohs! He takes his second and this time it goes in no problem! The crowd lights up again as the score is now tied!!)

Costas: He bent his knees on that one Doug! And the Score is Tied!

Collins: Larry Bird not calling a time out I agree with this everytime the Lakers have pushed Pacers have answered.

(The Pacers come down court and Jackson dishing the ball off the Miller who spots a streaking Croshere who drives and goes for a layup that is partially blocked by Curry sending the ball back Harper and Miller struggle for the ball and Harper finally takes it and calls timeout! Croshere feeling as though he was fouled elbows Tre in the back Curry stumbles and gets up jawing with Croshere with a smug smile on his face!

Costas: What a stop by Curry

Collins: This kid is good, imagine this team when he and Kobe are at there peak!

Costas: Frigtening!

Collins: Bird better regroup his team, Croshere could have easily gotten a technical there, the Pacers seem like a team who feels it slipping away!

(Bird and Jackson go over strategy with there team and they come out with a little over a minute left to play. Harper takes it down court who passes it to Rice, Kobe gets the ball in his hands and drives breaking down the Indiana defense again before passing it to a wide open Curry who takes a step back and with nobody in his face drains a 3 with pin point acurracy! The Crowd comes to hits feet and lets out ear numbing screams of joy! The camera's are shaking at all the excitement!)

Costas: The Lakers with the Lead for the first time since the first quarter!

Collins: Watch Perkins on the Perimeter!

(The Pacers streak down court and pass it to Perkins just like Collins said who is wide open, he misses badly but Indiana gets the Rebound! and Miller ends up with the ball in his hands he too shoots a three that just bounces off. Shaq takes the rebound and launhes it like he was Brett Favre to a a streaking Trevon Curry who Catches and with Only Croshere in his way electrifies the crowd with a 360 Slam! leaping over Croshere and sending him flying into the camera men. Trevon gets up smiling at him.)

Costas: Oh, My add that one to the highlight reel!

Collins: Pacers down 5 with only 29 seconds left there going to have to get a score and hope for a steal or take teh foul!

(After an Indiana Time out the Pacers come out aggressive Reggie running a 100 miles a minute he pulls up and somehow someway gets wide open Croshere passes to him for a clean 3 look it looks as pretty as a real rainbow as it goes up perfect rotation and it elegantly hits IRON!! the ball bounces up and Shaq takes it an quickly passes it out to Curry who dazzles the crowd with excellent ball handling he looks like a Barry Sanders the way he jukes and is making the Pacers miss as they desperately try and foul him, then with about 3 seconds left he hits Kobe with a spinning pass Curry just stops and slashes his throat making the gesture of you finished! While the shot from Kobe is still in the Air it hits just at the Buzzer sounds Jack Nicholson in the front row makes the Choking gesture to Reggie as he walks to the locker room!)

Costas: Thats it after 12 years the Lakers are Champions Again!!

(The Crowd goes nuts People flood the Floor, Fireworks and Confetti streams down from the ceiling, The hats are passed around, Curry jumps on Shaqs back who is trying to hold back his tears. Kobe is hugging the Great Magic Johnson the atmosphere is unbelieveable the Curry, Harper and Horry start dancing at Center court then throw some hats into the Crowd. Trevon looks up at the scoreboard sweat dripping down his face and a smile a mile wide. The Pacers walk dejected back to there Lockeroom, and then the Trophies come out David Sten stands at Center court with Owner Jerry Buss, Phil Jackson and the rest of the Lakers.

David Stern: We and the rest of the NBA would like to congratulate you the Los Angeles Lakers on Becoming the Champions!! It was a hard fought series and we take our hats off the to the Pacers for the Great effort. Here is the Championship Trophy

Jerry: You fans are the Greatest!!! GO LAKERS!!!!!

Phil: It's been a great year you couldn't ask for anything more, how about we do it again Next Year!!

(Crowd Cheers!)

David: Only the 3rd Player ever to win the MVP of the League the MVP of the All Star Game and the MVP of the Series. Lets here it for the man who averged 38 points a game and 16 rebounds Shaquille O'Neal!!!!

(Shaq takes the trophy he has his mom and dad at his side)

Shaq: First off I'd like to Thank Phil Jackson the Real Coach of the Year!! And the people of LA you are the Greatest fans in the NBA!!!

(The Lakers pass the trophy around from player to player the melee eventually makes its way to the Lockeroom where the Champagne is busted out and corks start to fly everywhere, Shaq takes a bottle and pours some over the head of Trevon Curry as he is giving a hug to Kobe Bryant the Champagne burns his eyes but he doesn't care he's juts overjoyed at becoming a World Champion the Party continues for sometime. After about an hour we see Curry fresh out of the shower dressed in a Gold and Purple Lakers warm up suit a NBA World Champions T-shirt under his Jacket, he and the rsst of his teamates are in a waiting area preparing for a a post championship press conference. they all walk out to a long line of tables where there is a seat for everyone Trevon sits down and the Press Conference begins.)

Reporter: Phil this is your 8th ring one as a player and 7 as a coach how many do you need!

Phil: At least two more my thumbs are getting Jealous!

(Room laughs)

Reporter Shaq how does it feel being the MVP of damn near everything any new nicknames!?

Shaq: I'm naming myself The Big Champion!

Reporter: Kobe how did it feel putting down that shot at the end?

Kobe: Well I really didn't even care I just know once it left my hand the time would be up and it would be over. I didn't care if I made it or not! It was a damn good shot though!

Reporter: Trevon Curry is it true you had flown in from Scotland last night to get ready for the game?

Trevon: Yeah, I did but phil gave us da day off so I had a little side trip!

Reporter: It wouldn't have had anything to do with the GWA did it!?

Trevon: Ya know what I thought we were talking basketball only basketball questions!

Reporter: Alright, With Rice a free agent at the end of the season do you feel like Curry is ready to step in the starting role?

Phil: Rice is a part of this team and until he isn't which I see no reason he shouldn't be, we'll handle that then!

Reporter: So are you going to be wrestling again Trevon?

Trevon: Yeah, me and Shaq wrestle all da Time!

(The questions continue for another 15 minutes or so Trevon dodges a few more wrestling questions and the session ends Trevon grabs his bags and he is about to leave with some of his teamates Shaq and B-Shaw (Brian Shaw) To go celebrate when he is confronted at the front door by Leon Spinx.)

Leon: Truth! Truth! Can I ask you some questions?

Trevon: Sure wad up!

Leon: Oh, My God My First Big Interview! What happened in Scotland was simply amazing nobody ever saw it coming man how did you pull it off? What the Deal with Knight?

(Curry suddenly is jolted from his jubilent high into the through of Damian Knight the man who he had been able to forget for the last few hours, his world snapped back into focus the man who he had been searching out the last two years, the hunger to find him again, the pain and Punishment he had endured all the emotions flood him at once. He snaps back somewhat surprised at Leon's question as he was expecting a Basketball Question. He still tries to play it off.)

Trevon: Ah! Yeah Scotland dat was some crazy stuff Main! I don't know if I had as much fun as I did dat night finally able to look Knight as Sinn in da eyes again as myself and not some puppet! You know what man dis really isn't da time I would just like one night to enjoy dis widout having to think about wrestlin. Tell you what come see me tommorrow and I'll cut you a good interview and explain it all to ya den!

Leon: Really!! This is Great!!

Trevon: Cool!

Leon: You do know you have a match this Saturday don't you?

Trevon: Match?

Leon: Chicago, Pinnacle!

Trevon: Who do I face?

Leon: Pinnacle!

Trevon: I know da show, but who's my opponent?

Leon: Thats his name Pinnacle!

Trevon: What da hell type of name is dat, we must have some 3rd graders joinin who open a dictionary and point to any word! Pinnacle! Baylow! Hell, its almost as bad as havin da name Seth Yorgison! Now Seth had no choice in da name but having da nickname Yorgi just aint fly! So maybe after I batter you on Saturday we'll give you a new name like Toast because your about ta get Burned! Dats da Truth! And da Truth hurts!! Man I got celebratin ta do PEACE OUT!! And I'M OUT!!!

(Scene fades with Trevon hopping in a strech hummer limosine with some Laker buddies the Speed out leaving Leon Spinx there pretty happy at landing an interview.)
