Just as we probably wouldn' t use a hoe to drive nails, or a math skills book to teach a student how to read, we need to know when technology--in its current form(s), and with the support structure(s) we currently have in place--is not the best choice. As Dale Whathisname said in July, computers make very expensive pencils. So we need to be constantly thoughtful about what we're doing and why.
