I am not so sure where to begin with this reflection. I can certainly relate to others in feeling overwhelmed with the "time factor." We all seem so busy with our daily responsibilities that to take time to reflect is a luxury I only think I cannot afford. True, the choice is mine, perhaps better time management is the answer.
I am experiencing the pleasure of being able to help others. Teachers, not only my proteges, have approached me with miscellaneous questions regarding equipment/software and if I am able to help I am happy to do so. Rewarding.
My proteges are busy with their team and school responsibilities, therefore, we struggle to find time to meet. Often I meet with them individually on prep periods or a quick lunch gathering. We do schedule before and after school times, which are helpful.
It is refreshing to read others reflections and hear some of the same rewards and frustrations that we all seem to be experiencing. Overall, I am enjoying this challenge and find the time well spent. I look to the road ahead and the units in planning, in particular the benefits the students will experience.
