The Trial is one of the reasons why I don't really see Darla as "EEEvil" anymore. The fact that she literally felt Angel's pain and willingness to die for her, softened that very cold heart that existed before she was dusted. When I think of Darla, I think of her as Darla 1.0 and Darla 2.0. Darla 1.0 existed from BtVS Season 1 up to Dear Boy. Darla 1.0 was cruel, ruthless, mean and an absoulte b*tch. I'm not sure if she really loved Angelus. I think the two cared for each other, the look they share in Hearthrob always holds my attention and fascination.

Darla 2.0 exists from the Trial to now. Darla 2.0, for me has the seeds for love and caring that Darla 1.0 didn't really have a chance to experience. That's why I am wary of posts that claim that once the baby is born it needs protection from Darla since she is a vampire. Darla 2.0 has changed too much for me to really believe that will happen, but I'll reserve my full judgement until Offspring.

It's a good policy Blue. I should really do that, but it's hard to shut out the obnoxiousness. For the most part, when I see a Darla-hate post I simply roll my eyes and say, "Yeah, yeah, you hate Darla, tell me something I don't know."

No offense taken and I am so sorry you had to deal with a few rotten apples of the A/C bunch. Overall, the people I meet in the A/C crowd are very nice. A/Cers have had it rough with the B/A crowd, which is for me, the most rabid bunch of all. I sympathize with them on that front. When it comes to darla, though, I have learned in the past year to completely avoid the Darla-centered topics, just for the sake of my sanity.

>Aww, thanks!

No problem.
