I agree. I love Angel/Cordy as a romanitc couple just as much as I love Angel/Darla as friends/romance.

You're right that Cordy/Wes/Gunn were overshadowed by the Darla arc last year and that is one thing I fault with the writers. I loved the Darla arc except for Epiphany (I felt everything was wrapped up way too easily), but there was no balance between the characters and I think a lot of fans resented that imbalance and in turn placed all of their anger on the Darla character. If there's one thing I'm glad for this year is that the writers are holding off the Darla storyline until November sweeps. At least there won't be claims by some fans that it's all "Darla, Darla, Darla!"
