In Lullaby, I thought Connorhad brown eyes, but in these ep he had blue eyes. I'm wondering if they had two separate babies in the role of Connor.

Anyhow, I saw the ep despite my lousy reception and overall I thought it was okay. Angel was cute as protective parent and as for who is going to play the "mom" role for Connor, it feels to me that it is going to be a "it takes a village to raise a child" kind of thing, but who knows how it plays out in future episodes.

I liked how Darla was mentioned in this episode. Angel said he made a promise to Darla to protect Connor and that pleased me. There was an appropriate moment of sadness/uncomfortableness amongst the Fang gang regarding the status of Connor's mom. I recall a post on the ASS board where it was mentioned that Angel came out very Irish in this ep and it struck me as true. Before, I could never really tell Angel was Irish except in flashback. Now, that he has a son, I guess Angel feels the need to really let his son know his roots. It was nice that he sang an Irish lullaby, stated that Connor was going to Notre Dame (home of the Fighting Irish, I believe) and the name Connor itself. God, I love the name Connor, it just feels right.
