You are invited to compete in the 2nd annual Southern Dream "BE MY VALENTINE" Pageant. Welcome to the wonderful world of Southern Dream Pageantry. We pride ourselves in providing todays youth with a fair and honest pageant system, where ALL children are winners!!!Please remember that " A WINNER NEVER QUITS AND A QUITTER NEVER WINS!"

Place: Livingston Tx. - Park Inn - Hwy 59 N
Register: 1-2 pm Pageant is at 2:30

AGE GROUPS

Please take note of our NEW age groups!!! We are proud to offer these new groups!!!

Baby Pageant: 0-12 mo, 13-26 mo., 27-36 mo., 3-4 yrs
Youth Pageant: 5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-12 yrs. Teens and Mrs will be offered on the State Level.

COMPETITIONS

Beauty: You will compete in your pageant dress for Beauty competition. Baby pageant will be judged on physical beauty, stage personality, over-all appearance, and stage presentation.Youth pageant will be judged on physical beauty, over-all appearance, modeling, and stage presentation. You will receive your score sheets right after the crowning ceremony. Southern Dream is a full glitz pageant system where you can wear pageant hair and makeup.Dressing room will be provided.
Awards: We will crown a Beauty Queen and 2 alternates per age group. Each Queen will win a beautiful heart crown, valentine monogrammed banner, banner pin, nice Valentine gift, goody bag , and her State Beauty fees paid- to the 2003 SD Open State pageant to be held in summer of 2003. Each alternate will win a pretty heart tiara and a filled goody bag, plus her State Beauty fees paid. Each contestant not placing in Beauty will be named Southern Sweetheart and she will win a pretty medallion and a filled goody bag. No one leaves the stage empty handed!!!

PHOTOGENIC: One winner per age group. You may enter up to 2 pictures.Score is entered for the Supreme title. Each photogenic winner will win a monogrammed SD pillowcase.

MOST BEAUTIFUL: One winner per age group. Judged on facial beauty only.Each most beautiful winner will win a pretty heart/crown necklace. Score is entered for the Supreme title.

VALENTINE WEAR: One winner per age group, this is an optional event - however the score is entered for the Supreme title. You will model the valentine wear of your choice. Girls 5 and up may pro-am. One winner per age group. Each winner will receive a very nice Valentine prize!!!

SUPREME QUEENS: We will crown 2 Supreme Queens. One for 0-4 yrs and 1 for 5 yrs and up. This will be the one contestant in each age bracket with the highest combined scores. If you win Supreme , you will not win Beauty in your group.
AWARDS: Besides winning the highest title of the day, each Supreme Queen will win a LARGE BEAUTIFUL HEART SUPREME CROWN, MONOGRAMMED BANNER, BANNER PIN, LARGE VALENTINE GIFT, FILLED GOODY BAG, and her STATE BEAUTY FEES PAID , plus this wonderful title!!!

TICKET SALES

You may sell tickets to win some great prizes or for your fees for the pageant. Ticket monies are due by the deadline of the pageant, this insures that all of your prizes will be at the crowning ceremony.Ticket sales have nothing to do with the outcome of the pageant- this is just something extra for the contestant to either help with entry fees or win some extra prizes!!!

SELL $75 tickets and win your entry fees for Supreme
SELL $100 tickets win your Supreme fees and a nice heart crown.
SELL $150 tickets win all above plus a monogrammed banner and monogrammed pillowcase.
SELL $175 tickets win all above plus a septor and a banner pin.
SELL $200 tickets win all above plus a crown necklace and a large Valentine gift.
TICKET QUEEN: will be one one contestant selling over $200 in tickets- she will win all awards that the $200 level wins plus a 6 foot trophy, Crowns are larger for each ticket sells level. Southern Dream will be raffeling some great Valentine prizes for the ticket sales!!! Tickets sell for $1.00 each- you can make your own tickets by simply having buyers name and telephone number and sold by:____ on each ticket. Tickets are due at pageant registration, however the monies are due by the deadline of the pageant: JAN. 27th !!! No exceptions.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE to enter the pageant is January 27th !!! No exceptions. This means I must have your filled out entry form and deposit by this date!!!

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Southern Dream will charge a door admission to the general public of $5.00. Contestant and 1 parent do not pay this door admission.
2. All judges decisions are final and will not be disputed.
3. If you have a problem - please go directly to Mrs Niski after the crowning ceremony, however Southern Dream and Mrs Niski will not tolerate any bad sportsmanship, profanity, or loudness.
4. When a contestant is on stage- Please remember to keep all talking at a minimum. This is only respect to the contestants and you will expect the same when your child is on the stage!!
5. NO PERSONAL CHECKS accepted. Please dont ask- because of a few bad apples SD just can not accept personal checks any longer.
6. You will receive your individual scoresheets right after the crowning ceremony- masters are always available for your viewing.
7 IMPORTANT DEADLINE TO ENTER- JAN 27th!!!
8. Mrs Niski will provide each contestant a SWEETHEART SACK- this is very popular with the children, you can just drop a little candy, note or trinket in each for a good luck wish. We will have refreshments after crowning.

If my child is a crown winner at this pageant, I will make it my upmost effort to attend the SD Open State pageant in the summer of 2003.
