  Boys: 0-18 mo, 19-36 mo,3-4 yrs, 5-7 yrs
  You will compete the age you are the day of the
  pageant. NO DOUBLE CROWNING!!!!
  You are invited to participate in the Southern Dream
  Sweetheart Pageant. We are planning a fun pageant for
  the children to showcase their God given beauty. First
  15 entries received with deposit before the deadline
  will receive a special prize!!!Deadline to enter is
  Feb 18 2002.

  OVER*ALL HIGH PIONT SUPREME WINNERS:
  We will have 3 Supreme winners. One for the entire
  Boys pageant,1 for 0-4 yrs and 1 for 5 yrs and up.
  This will be the contestant who has the highest
  combined scores in Beauty, Photogenic, Casualwear,and
  Most Beautiful/Handsome.
  Supreme Winners will receive a beautiful Southern
  Dream Crown, Lace trimmed wrap banner, banner pin,
  basket of goodies, garmet bag, and a $50 Savings Bond.

  OVER*ALL HIGH POINT WINNERS:
  Once again 3 will be crowned. This will be the
  contestant with the highest combined scores in Beauty,
  Photogenic,& Most Beautiful/Handsome.
  OverAll Winners will receive a beautiful Southern
  Dream crown, Lace trimmed wrap banner, banner pin,
  basket full of goodies and a tote bag.

  Beauty Competition- You will compete in pageant dress/
  suit for beauty competition. Modeling will be on the
  "T" formation.Judging will consist of
  personality/modeling, over-all appearance, stage
  prestation and physical beauty.
  We will crown a Queen and 2 alternates per age
  division. They will receive a beautiful crown, banner,
  and a basket full of goodies.Each alternate will
  receive a nice ward (tiara or trophy) and a gift.Each
  contestant will receive a prize, no one leaves the
  stage empty handed!!

  Photogenic- turn your pics in at registration. Please
  have your name and age group on back of each pic.
  Color or B&W. Up to 8x10. Winner in each group will
  receive a very nice prize and banner.

  Most/Beautiful/Handsome
  Judged during beauty competition. Judged on facial
  beauty only. Winner in each age group will receive a
  nice prize and banner.

  Casualwear
  This competition is off the rack casualwear, however
  it is our pro-am competition. No glitz. We are looking
  for pro-am ability instead of a glitzy outfit. One
  winner in each age group will receive a nice prize and
  a banner.

  OverAll Photogenic-
  One winner per pageant in each.
  Winner will receive a beautiful Southern Dream crown,
  banner, basket full of goodies!!!

  beautiful crown, banner, and basket full of goodies.

  Smile, Pretty Eyes, Pretty Hair and Fashion will also

  Sisters-Brothers: One full price , the other half
  price if entered in all events.
  
  Door admission : Adults $4.00 Children under 12 yrs
  $2.00 . This applies to everyone EXCEPT One parent and
  the contestant.
  
  Rules and regulations:
  Southern Dream reserves the right to cancell or
  combine any age group due to lack of entries. You must
  have your deposit and entry form to the office no
  later than the deadline :Feb 18, 2002 !!No exceptions.
  No refunds for no shows. No personal checks accepted.
  Please make out money orders/cashier's checks to Niski
  Paredes.
  Southern Dream will provide a highly qualified judges,
  and their decisions will not be disputed in any way,
  you will receive your score sheets right after
  crowning and the master score sheet is always
  available for viewing after crowning.
  I will not tolerate bad sportsmanship in any form!!!
  If you are caught bad mouthing another contestant, the
  director, parent, or any one else involved in the
  pageant world, I will excuse you from the pageant
  without refund. I try my very hardest to provide a
  friendly unstressful atsmosphere at Southern Dream and
  I will not tolerate any ugly behavior. This goes for
  profanity also!!!

  The doctor found some torn and folded cartilage under the knee cap.

I had orginally had Jan 12 but just got off the phone with the Park Inn and they made a small booking error- so have changed the date to Saturday Jan 26 2002 if you have received your form please be aware of the date chane.   Ms Susan...I've been trying to call you, but I think I could find Osama Bin Laden faster than I can find you! Anyway, thought I would just let everyone know that Ashley & Emmie did great at AGG. Ashley had 12 girls in her group and placed in every event, except photogenic. She was flawless on stage and I am sooo proud! As far as Emmie...what can I say...beyond AWESOME! She burned that stage up in everything! Y'all would have been so very proud. All of the groups were HUGE and their were no beginers.   Ok, here is what happened. Somewhere about 1:00 a.m. a short in the wall socket created a fire. It climbed inside the wall and burned and smouldered for about 2 hours before blasting flames. I awoke to the smoke alarm at 3:00 and called 911 Rachel and I got out with our pj's on and not even shoes. It took the firemen over 9 hours to put the fire out and then it caught fire again Friday night. The house is a total loss. Here is the strange thing. When we walked into the house on Friday, we found Rachel's portfolio (not even wet) and a friend who was helping us go through the remains and found Rachel's gown, western wear, sportswear and casual wear and crowning dress. We got them out and the only thing destroyed was the sportswear (which we are having remade right now) and lost one boot from the western wear. Very very strange. No shoes, clothes, pictures, etc. Who knows how god works. But we are fine and will be at Victorian Dream on the 26th. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. All our love, Karen & Rachel
