  Each contestant is encouraged to submit a picture, for our book. Each contestant is encouraged to sell an ad sheet to any business, family, etc., ad sheets are $45.00 half page, and $80.00 for full page. If a contestant sells 2 or more ad sheets he/she will receive a 3 ft. trophy and a crown.
  Advertisement is tax deductible.
  This is not required but encouraged.
  
  
  Registration Time Starts at 8:30am. Pageant is set to go at 10:15 on June 21, 2003 at the Cookeville Community Center.

  Welcome to Southern Beauty! Southern Beauty has existed under the present director, Vicki Sawney, for 6 years. Pageants have been held only locally and have been mostly on the beginner level. Entering a new year we would like to try something new and have decided to try an online and mail in photo contest. Entries will be accepted from the 1st of each month until the 25th of each month and winners will be announced by the 30th. Photos will not be posted until after the deadline. A Natural Grand Supreme and a Glitz Grand Supreme will win 1/2 of all cash collected as entry fees in each of their respective divisions. The more that enter, the more cash awarded. I will consider cash awards for Divisional Supremes if there is enough interest in the contest. Fees will be $10 for the first photo and $5 for each additional up to 3 additional photos.   Baby Pageant: 0-12 mo, 13-26 mo., 27-36 mo., 3-4 yrs
  Youth Pageant: 5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-12 yrs. Teens and Mrs will be offered on the State Level.
  
  COMPETITIONS
  
  Beauty: You will compete in your pageant dress for Beauty competition. Baby pageant will be judged on physical beauty, stage personality, over-all appearance, and stage presentation.Youth pageant will be judged on physical beauty, over-all appearance, modeling, and stage presentation. You will receive your score sheets right after the crowning ceremony. Southern Dream is a full glitz pageant system where you can wear pageant hair and makeup.Dressing room will be provided.
  Awards: We will crown a Beauty Queen and 2 alternates per age group. Each Queen will win a beautiful heart crown, valentine monogrammed banner, banner pin, nice Valentine gift, goody bag , and her State Beauty fees paid- to the 2003 SD Open State pageant to be held in summer of 2003. Each alternate will win a pretty heart tiara and a filled goody bag, plus her State Beauty fees paid. Each contestant not placing in Beauty will be named Southern Sweetheart and she will win a pretty medallion and a filled goody bag. No one leaves the stage empty handed!!!
  
  PHOTOGENIC: One winner per age group. You may enter up to 2 pictures.Score is entered for the Supreme title. Each photogenic winner will win a monogrammed SD pillowcase.
  
  MOST BEAUTIFUL: One winner per age group. Judged on facial beauty only.Each most beautiful winner will win a pretty heart/crown necklace. Score is entered for the Supreme title.
  
  VALENTINE WEAR: One winner per age group, this is an optional event - however the score is entered for the Supreme title. You will model the valentine wear of your choice. Girls 5 and up may pro-am. One winner per age group. Each winner will receive a very nice Valentine prize!!!
  
  SUPREME QUEENS: We will crown 2 Supreme Queens. One for 0-4 yrs and 1 for 5 yrs and up. This will be the one contestant in each age bracket with the highest combined scores. If you win Supreme , you will not win Beauty in your group.
  AWARDS: Besides winning the highest title of the day, each Supreme Queen will win a LARGE BEAUTIFUL HEART SUPREME CROWN, MONOGRAMMED BANNER, BANNER PIN, LARGE VALENTINE GIFT, FILLED GOODY BAG, and her STATE BEAUTY FEES PAID , plus this wonderful title!!!
  
  TICKET SALES
  
  You may sell tickets to win some great prizes or for your fees for the pageant. Ticket monies are due by the deadline of the pageant, this insures that all of your prizes will be at the crowning ceremony.Ticket sales have nothing to do with the outcome of the pageant- this is just something extra for the contestant to either help with entry fees or win some extra prizes!!!
  
  SELL $75 tickets and win your entry fees for Supreme
  SELL $100 tickets win your Supreme fees and a nice heart crown.
  SELL $150 tickets win all above plus a monogrammed banner and monogrammed pillowcase.
  SELL $175 tickets win all above plus a septor and a banner pin.
  SELL $200 tickets win all above plus a crown necklace and a large Valentine gift.
  TICKET QUEEN: will be one one contestant selling over $200 in tickets- she will win all awards that the $200 level wins plus a 6 foot trophy, Crowns are larger for each ticket sells level. Southern Dream will be raffeling some great Valentine prizes for the ticket sales!!! Tickets sell for $1.00 each- you can make your own tickets by simply having buyers name and telephone number and sold by:____ on each ticket. Tickets are due at pageant registration, however the monies are due by the deadline of the pageant: JAN. 27th !!! No exceptions.
  
  IMPORTANT DEADLINE to enter the pageant is January 27th !!! No exceptions. This means I must have your filled out entry form and deposit by this date!!!
  
  RULES AND REGULATIONS
  1. Southern Dream will charge a door admission to the general public of $5.00. Contestant and 1 parent do not pay this door admission.
  2. All judges decisions are final and will not be disputed.
  3. If you have a problem - please go directly to Mrs Niski after the crowning ceremony, however Southern Dream and Mrs Niski will not tolerate any bad sportsmanship, profanity, or loudness.
  4. When a contestant is on stage- Please remember to keep all talking at a minimum. This is only respect to the contestants and you will expect the same when your child is on the stage!!
  5. NO PERSONAL CHECKS accepted. Please dont ask- because of a few bad apples SD just can not accept personal checks any longer.
  6. You will receive your individual scoresheets right after the crowning ceremony- masters are always available for your viewing.
  7 IMPORTANT DEADLINE TO ENTER- JAN 27th!!!
  8. Mrs Niski will provide each contestant a SWEETHEART SACK- this is very popular with the children, you can just drop a little candy, note or trinket in each for a good luck wish. We will have refreshments after crowning.

  Tiara Dreams Judging Criteria
  
  Queen /King Competition: Will be judged in Pageant Formal
  attire. Babies will be presented on stage by Chaperone (adult). Our judges
  will score on a point system of 1-10 based on overall projection,
  personality-judged during interview and appearance.
  
  Most Beautiful/Handsome: Will be judged on facial beauty and during the
  Formal wear. Queen/ King Competition. Our Judges will score on a point system
  of 1-10.
  
  Best Dressed: Will be judged on an overall score of Attire during the
  Beauty Competition. This is judged on how well the Dress looks and compliments the Contestant (not on the price or designer of Dress) Judged on a point system of 1-10.
  
  All Modeling Optional:
  Sports Wear: Pro- Am
  Winter Wear: can be Pro- Am or runway
  Casual Wear: straight runway T style modeling
  Celebrating American wear: Can be Pro – Am or runway t style modeling This will be judged on Stage presentation, appearance, personality And Modeling (which is judged on age capability). The babies and up to age 4 are not expected to Do Pro-am modeling and will be judged accordingly on personality and being comfortable on stage. Judged on a Point system of 1-10.
  
  Talent: Must be 3 minutes or less. Contestants will be judged on Difficulty
  according to age, Attire and Overall Entertainment. Please bring music cued
  if on cassette. If on CD labeled with the # of
  Song.
  
  Photogenic: Contestants photo may be 81/2 x11 or 8x10. Photo is judged on Eye
  Contact, Clarity and Overall Appearance.
  
  
  Portfolio: Contestants Portfolio may be amateur or Professional. It must not contain more than 10 Photo’s. They can be colored or black and white and should not be smaller than a 5x7. Portfolios judged on Variety, Clarity, and Overall Appearance.

  Well, it is that time of year again. I must once again say good-bye to our national reigning royalty. It always saddens me to watch these girls give up their titles, but it excites me because we are about to welcome many other girls and boys into our always growing pageant family.
  I would like to take this opportunity to say a very special thank you to those who have made this year so successful. Teresa Delcambre is first on this list. Without her genuine love and friendship our pageant system would not be what it is today. I want to thank Jill and Debbie Blaha who have gone out their way to represent our system every chance they have had this year. Jill is a truely beautiful girl on the inside and out, and her mother is a truely special person.
  I would also like to thank The Demerse Family, The Isdale Family, and the Walthall family for giving me the honor of allowing their children to represent our pageant system. All of these girls truely are beautiful and talented in every aspect of pageantry.

  Registration is to begin on Friday night at 7PM and last until 9 PM. All contestants will need to register at this time. We will have the baby and boy pageant beginning at 9AM on Saturday morning with crowning to follow. Youth pageant will begin at 2 PM with crowning to follow.   You will receive your score sheets after crowning. I will not tolerate any unsporstmanshop like behavior.
  Each contestant is required to bring a gift for the Grand Supreme Queen to be crowned in your group. Ex.- if you are a baby contestant you will need to bring 1 wrapped gift with congratulations marked on it from: your name, for your 0-36 mo. winner. We will have a nice bag or box for the new 2002 Grand Supreme Queens , they will receive all gifts at crowning. Also EACH contestant is required to bring RHEAGAN CARROLL a nice Queens gift. Rheagan is the 2001 GRAND SUPREME QUEEN, Rheagan will receive all gifts when she makes her final walk during the youth crowning that evening.Please have gifts wrapped and marked with your name. You will turn in your gifts at the pageant registation on Fri evening.
  
  NO PERSONAL CHECKS!!! I am sorry for this but I cant accept any personal checks any longer. If you send one I will have to return it back to you. Only money orders or cashiers checks will be accepted. CASH ONLY at the door will be accepted. This rule will be strictly enforced so please do not ask.

  I have changed the pageant agenda this year to try to keep the cost down for the contestants. We will have NO clothes changes this year, all you need is your pageant attire for Beauty and your photogenic picture.Hopefully this will also help in running a smooth and on time schedule!!! Please keep in mind that I will in no way tolerate bad sportsmanship in any way!!! Any one that displays bad sportsmanshop will be asked to leave the pageant without refund.Lets all plan for a fun filled pageant and make lots of pageant memories to cherish forever!!!   6 months Denim wear- denim baby doll top with daisy, sunflower and silver accents, white biker shorts with yellow trim, white short sleeve t-shirt with yellow accents. Comes with hat, soft shoes, all with sunflowers. $20
  
  "Small" (about 6-9 months?) Blue Million $$ Babe swimwear- looks like a "washed" blue shaded to white velour or crushed velvet. Never worn still has tags- $20
  
  Lavendar custom 6-12 mos sportswear with jumpsuit, skirt, size 3 shoes, headband, tights. Skirt needs to be re-hemmed and shoes are not perfect. Worn once, judges scored very well-$75
  
  12 months Red with dalmation print winter sportswear- red "fuzzy" pants, jacket type top of same fabric with dalmation print and hat- $35
  
  24month/ 2T Blue custom dress, shell by Dona Holt, two pieces, skirt is gorgeous. I modified the bodice to make it a "U" shaped back just under the shoulder blades, it has short lace sleeves, decorated with green, blue, crystal and ab stones, green and blue ribbon. It needs a few more stones. As is $300 or I will finish for $350
  
  1T White D'Shawn, has pink flowers and pearls hanging in open back and from short sleeves- $75

  Ms Niski is proud to invite you to compete in the first annual "MY LITTLE PRINCESS" pageant. This will be a summertime fun pageant... My Little Princess is a pageant system designed to promote good sportsmanship and showcase your child's beauty and talent. We will also be awarding "MY PRINCE CHARMING" to those little boys who enjoy pageantry. My Little Princess is a pageant system where a pageant dress is not required, however you may wear a pageant dress,frilly dress, sunday dress, etc, it is not how many rhinestones you have on your dress, we are looking for how well the dress looks on you and how well your inner beauty and personality shines through. Same goes for boys , tux is not required, you may wear tux, sunday suit, nice slacks and shirt, etc. Pageant hair and make up is allowed, just on a toned down level.Please remember when you are putting makeup on your child, if you do- that there will be no bright big stage lights and the children will be close to the judges table .
  I hope that you are ready for a fun day of pageantry and some really nice prizes to be awarded. I promise to make each child feel like the Queen/King that they already are- NO ONE LEAVES THE STAGE EMPTY HANDED!!!

  Competitions & Awards
  
  BEAUTY- One Queen and 2 alternates per group. Modeling will be on the "T" formation. Judging will consist of physical beauty, personality/modeling,apperance and presentation. YOu will receive your score sheets right after crowning!!!!
  
  AWARDS; Queens will receive a pretty crown, monogrammed banner, filled goody bag, & nice summertime fun gift!!! Each alternate will receive a crown or trophy, filled goody bag and nice gift.
  Boys crowns and gifts will differ.
  Each contestant will receive atleast 1 tiara or trophy and a filled goody bag!!!!
  
  PHOTOGENIC: Bring pic with you to registeration. Have your name and group on back!!!
  1 winner per group will receive a banner and a very nice photogenic gift.
  
  MOST BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME:Judged on facial beauty only.
  1 winner per group will receive a OFFICIAL MY LITTLE PRINCESS MONOGRAMMED PILLOWCASE COMPLETE With PILLOW!!!!! The children love these pillows!!!!
  
  SUMMERWEAR: You will model 1 outfit of your choice as long as it is summerwear. 4th of July wear can be worn since 4th of July is so close to the pageant date. I will provide upbeat music.
  1 winner per group will receive a OFFICIAL MONOGRAMMED BEACH TOWEL!!!!!
  
  TALENT: Please limit you talent to 2- 2 1/2 minutes. Starting with the 3-4 age group. 1 winner per group will receive a BANNER, TIARA AND A NICE SUMMERTIME FUN GIFT!!!
  
  OPTIONALS: Pretty hair, eyes, and smile will be chosen in each group. Winner will receive a nice summertime fun gift!!!

Meagan has had her second round of chemo and has lost the majority of her hair. She is only 5 years old and needs our support. Her family have no insurance to cover the cost to keep Meagan well!   I have had some requests to find out how many are in the age groups for Nationals on April 6-7. Here are the numbers as of today. These are what I have in hand. There is still 3 weeks till the pageant and I have alot of deposit that I expect in next week.
  Division Supremes will win along with a huge custom crown, custom banner, gift ......
  
  0-12 (2)payout so far is $200.00
  
  13-23 (5)payout so far is $500.00
  
  2 (4)payout so far is $400.00
  
  3 (3) payout so far is $300.00
  
  4 (5)payout so far is $500.00
  
  5 (4)payout so far is $400.00
  
  6-7 (4)payout so far is $400.00
  
  8-9 (3)payout so far is $300.00
  
  10-12(2)payout so far is $200.00
  
  13-16 (1)payout so far is $100.00
  
  17 and up (1) payout so far is $100.00
  
  We have no boys deposits in hand yet.
  
  Thats over $3,400.00 payout and thats not including Jackpot Options!

  Hi everyone, this is Ms Niski. Just got through talking to Ms Valerie and we have come together and decided to make our Princess Barbie Pageant a Benefit pageant for Megan Sewell. Megan is a precious little princess herself and we feel the strong need to pull together a benefit for her. Her mom is a very sweet christian lady that would help anyone in their time of need. So PLEASE lets all get together and make the benefit a huge success for little Megan!!!

  Date: March 23,2002 Saturday
  
  Place: Livingston Texas at the Park Inn on Hwy 59
  Register at 10:00-10:30 Pageant starts at 11:00
  
  
  Age Groups:
  0-18 mo, 19-36 mo, 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs 7-9 yrs
  Age will be determined by the age you are day of the pageant.
  
  Beauty: This will be a toned down pageant, however make up and pageant hair is allowed, but just not on the glitz level, please tone down.
  You will compete in your Easter/Sunday dress for the title. Modeling will be on the T formation, with 3 X's in back and 1 in front of the judges table.
  You will be scored on: personality/modeling,physical beauty, over-all appearance and presentation.
  
  There will be a Queen, Princess and 2 alternates in each age group.
  Each Queen will receive a Beautiful rhinestone crown, monogrammed banner, large plush lavender easter bunny, banner pin and a crown necklace. Each Princess will receive a title banner, lovely rhinestone crown, and a Easter surprise.
  Each alternate will receive a nice trophy and easter gift. All contestants will receive atleast 1 tiara or 1 trophy and a easter gift. No one leaves the stage empty handed!!!
  
  Photogenic: 1 winner per age group. Each winner will receive a banner and trophy.
  
  Most Beautiful:1 winner per age group. Each winner will receive a Southern Dream "Most Beautiful" T-Shirt and Banner.
  
  Fashion: 1 winner per age group. Each winner will receive a banner and monogrammed pillow case and pillow.
  
  Best Smile: 1 winner per age group. Each winner will receive a crown necklace and banner.
  
  Pretty Eyes: 1 winner per age group. Each winner will receive a banner and rhinestone banner pin.

  Supreme Awards:
  
  NO DOUBLE CROWNING- If you win a Supreme title you can not win Beauty in your age group. Supreme titles are higher awards.

  Enter the entire pageant for $75.00. This includes all events. Plus you will receive a photo of yourself in your Easter dress!!! All contestants will receive a easter basket for our Easter goody hunt. Peter Cottontail will have treats and suprises hidden all over the place.
  You may refer contestants to the pageant and earn $5 off for each new contestant referred. Your name must appear on the referred by line to receive credit.
  
  Deadline to enter is March 18!!! This means you must have your entry form and deposit of $40 to the pageant office by this date. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. Money orders or cashier's checks only.
