: ~ peering softly around the Great Hall....seeing no Frees to beg to serve...rising onto lil feet...moving toward the servery to start on chores ~

: ~ taking a moment to organize her thoughts on dinner....placing a roasting pan on the wooden counter....adding enough spring water to cover the bottom of the pan....slipping into the chillery for the meat....selecting a well-marbled cut of bosk...arranging it in the center of the pan ~ (18:25:44)

: ~ moving across to the spice counter....adding several whole peppercorns to the mortar....grinding the spice with the pestle....seeing the pepper is finely ground....sprinkling it liberally over the roast ~

: ~ disappearing into the chillery once again....looking for accompaniments for the roast...bringing out quite a few small suls along with several carrots...scrubbing them with a brush and some water so the veggies will be free of dirt...laying them around the roast...glancing up at the ceiling toward the rafters...breaking off dried thyme leaves...crushing them over the roast....wanting the roast to be pleasantly seasoned...pressing two garlic cloves into the folds of the meat ~

: ~ lifting the roasting pan in both small hands....padding slowly to the firepit....sliding the roast into the flames....mindfull not to burn herself....knowing the roast will take time....turning her attention to other chores ~
