~she slips in the side door, hoping that the other canine still followed. Just in case, she whispers to the dog in the armory, speaking to it like she would a normal person...~
Umm... Your master told me I could come in... He said I could work with the forge a bit. The scrap metal? Your buddy was following, he'll be here real soon if he isn't already...
~with each word she took a few cautious steps closer to the forge, before sliding beside it and placing a single finger inside, making the flame inside burn higher with ease. Removing the unharmed finger from the forge, she sits cautiously, slowly reaching for a few smaller scraps of metal. She heated them over the forge, chatting to the dog about human things, such as the weather, praising her over her beauty and skill. She hammered the red-hot scrap a little bit, fingers gesturing to the forge, who's flame level dropped suddenly, just to a small little blaze. She moved back to a chair, holding the heated blob of metal in her fingers, molding it like a cook would mold dough. Each place her fingers made contact with blazed red-hot, then faded. She then added a few other pieces, using a nail from her pouch to add in a few features. Almost as an offering, the girl set the creation in front of Claire. It was a metal recreation of a collie, done rather accurately for her first attempt. It was kind of thick and bloblike, but it's ears and face were rather correct for the breed. She was kind of proud of it, as witnessed by her adjustment to raise the dog's tail plumed and curve it in a mischevious arch towards the side, like she had seen many a canine do in her lifetime. It wasn't very impressive, but it was a start. She decided to go back to other things she knew, and began the familiar pattern of forming horseshoes out of metal. She didn't feel like making nails, or she would have. At intermissions, she made a small model of a horse, setting it near the collie, and then another of a playful kitten, such as that that frolicked around curiously in the armory, designing several horseshoes of different sizes, using less metal than she expected, leaving a large supply in the scrap area...~
