Having made himself a rough dinner and taken the time to consider good names, he reaches his conculsion. The older female had been easy to name, Claire. As for the younger male.. this had been more difficult, and he tentitively settled on Aidan..
Rising, he checks the door, stirrs the fire and opens the door to the small living area, a whistle inviting the dogs into the room. The male trots forward, the female only entering tentatively. Tonight he would leave the shop locked up, allowing the dogs to get used to the place, and to be sure they would not run away. Arranging it so the dogs could move from the workshop to his own room. A comfortable area near the fire made up for them, he patts them individually giving them pieces of bread from his dinner and watching the Claire move away to the forge, lying near the door, but in the warmth of the fire. The male sticks to Connor, licking his hand enthusiasticly and only moving away when the man is asleep, before trotting over to accompany the female on the cold winter night..
