Sounds like you have an axe to grind with Davis. I don't see whether they have football or not as having any affect on Long Beach. How they spend their athletic dollars is their business.

Look on the bright side, the more they spend on football, the less they'll have for other sports. That means Long Beach will be that much more competitive.
