Subject: Rigoletto

I thought that the story line of Rigoletto was planned out very well and the total opera as well. Dealing with characters and how each played a major role in the opera. I feel that Rigoletto should have let her daughter Gilda out into the real world to find out what her father does and who she should stay away from as the Duke. Gilda however should have just went to Verona and lived peacefully but instead stayed to hear the plan that was for her not to hear. For the Duke however he should have not played games with the wives of his friends and shouldn't have played with their minds while hurting them. Although i didn't like the ending it was a good play along with The Magic Flute.
