Subject: La Boheme and Rent

As much as I know Mr. Fornale hates modern musicals, I feel "Rent" should be given a chance. The plot, characters, songs, and more all quite similar to the original. It's fun to sit there in class and try to make connects with "La Boheme" and "Rent". At times it's really funny (the whole thing with the dead parrot is changed to a story of how "Angel Dumont Shunard" was paid to knock off a dog belonging to a rich lady's neighbor). The music itself in "Rent" is worth praise, so don't just dismiss it as some dumb spin off of "La Boheme."

P.S.~ No Day But Today!
