Subject: Da Vinci and Botticelli

Although I think both men are extremely talented, I like Botticelli's paintings much more than Da Vinci's. I can't really explain why, but maybe because of the use of colors, I find them more pleasing to look at. I think fictional paintings with fictional characters always catch my eye before the traditional religious characters because I'm so used to seeing Jesus and Mary portrayals in Religion over and over again. I also like Botticelli's atmosphere's much more than Da Vinci's. They seem brighter, and much less dreary. I think Da Vinci might have had much more natural talent than Botticelli, even though I like Botticelli's paintings more.
