Painting Research

Researching the painting was very informative. The painting I researched was "Lady with the Ermine" and I learned so much about the details of the painting.

I was so surprised to find so many webpages dedicated to the painting and all the thought and controversy over the painting. There was debate over when it was painted, who the lady in the painting is, and if da Vinci did paint it himself. I also learned that the painting had been altered from its original form. Since other people did the same painting as me, I also learned a little more about it, even though I thought I had covered everything.

It just goes to show that there is more to a painting than it just being a pretty picture to look at.
