I really enjoyed the movie, City Lights that we saw last week. I thought I would never really get into watching black and white films, but it's not that bad as I thought it would be. Although it's not all that exciting because there's hardly any special effects in it, the movie appealed to me because I was able to use my imagination more than just looking at what was happening. I was able to concentrate more on the film, because if I didn't concentrate, then obviously, I would have missed a part. It's hard enough that they don't talk at all. Even though their conversation is very limited to only a few lines, it still enables me to enjoy the simplicity of the movie itself. I can actually see myself now watching black and white movies without having to mind to watch it, even if I don't hear them talking, I can just use my imagination more and common sense in what is happening.
