Subject: Mr. Smith goes to Washington

Mr. Smith goes to Washington was definitaly one of my favorite movie this year. I'm very much an optimistic and I for one would like to think that someone as naive as Mr. Smith who goes into the jungles of Washington politics and returns with his intergrity still intact is a hero. Not only is it good to see a movie where a character goes under a change but can still keep his or her moral standings.
I also think that Jimmy Stewart is a very good actor. When he gets up to speak for the very first time he really looks nervous. Watching the movie I actually felt nervous for him. In a political world run like a political machine its good to see a breath of fresh air such as Jimmy Stewart's character. Although its not realistic there's nothing wrong with aspiring to a higher level of humanity.
