Subject: Rear Window and The Simpsons?

Hey, I don't know if anyone else caught onto this or not, but if you watch the Simpsons you may have. Did anyone notice that Rear Window is just like that episode of the Simpsons where the Simpsons get a pool, but Bart braks his leg. So he then starts looking into all the neighbor's windows from his bedroom window. When he looks into Flander's he hears Ned scream (thinking it's his wife) and then he sees Ned burying something in the backyard. In the end, it turns out that it was just Maud's plant, but there are a lot of similarities, including the fact that it's a hot summer. There's no doubt in my mind that the Simpson's creators had Rear Window in mind when they made the episode.
