i remember reading the book 3 years ago, but the movie shows really well, the emotions that come out of each character. for instance, when walter lee loses his mother's money in the partnership, you almost start to think that neither one of the people living in that apartment is ever going to leave. in the book it's harder to realize the severity of sadness that plagues the family. i like the movie so far.
