That's why we never leave home without one of those prepaid calling cards. Nowadays they are so inexpensive that I use them at home instead of making long distance calls billed to my phone I use the phone card. When we were up in Canada to get away we used our calling card from the house at the hotel and the operator from the hotel stole the number and started calling all over so you can never be sure using your home calling card. Sams club I have found to have the cheapest at 3.7 cents a minute and they are always clear connections. -- Buds Board

I just got my phone bill where clancy had to call me collect...on a Sat night at midnight. We talked for 2 minutes & would you believe AT&T charged me $19.62! I called them & talked to 3 different people about this high cost of a call, & do you know none of them wanted to deal with that. Each of them wanted to sell me long distance service!
