In the shadows of the night lurked Alaka'i. His grey body swayed with the wind, white paws flying, black ears swiveling. His breath was iced by the wind, his eyes of gold intense, orbs of light amidst darkness. Darkness.

He was at borders, he could tell with a whiff of ebony nostrils. He sat on silvery haunches, and lifted his maw to sniff some more. He lowered it, and flicked his tail, hoping that this pack would accept him.
