It's not so much that I'm bored of riding, in fact, I'm a still a little afraid of Liberty. She's so unpredictable and I'm not very good at handling horses that aren't broken well. I love her to bits, don't get me wrong, but she's more of the type of horse I could get along with wonderfully on the ground, but once I'm on her back - you can forget about it. Some times I get so freaked it's almost not worth it to ride. I haven't been confident since the 2nd time I've gotten thrown. It was on a lesson horse. My instructor told me that I kicked him a little the frist time he took off, but I hung on (even over the jump he took by surprise) but the second time he took off she didn't see what I did wrong. I tried so hard to pull on the rein to get him in a tight circle, but I ended up just making a lot of curves until finally I flew into the fence. That little idiot still wasn't satisfied and tried to kick me! I felt as if I was in more of a rodeo than a riding lesson. I still have scars on my arm and leg. I think it might have to do with my intstructor - it was my first time with her and she's only 17. I like my regular instructor better, (she's the one that sold me libby!) but this 17 year old doesn't go to our barn any more. *sigh* I miss my old barn friends, Tina and Jenna (they're sisters). We were really close. We spent SO much time together and they were the only people at the barn MY age and the only friends I had that know the first thing about a horse. We went to auctions and shows together A LOT. Sometimes we'd ride together. We cleaned stalls together, helped Kathy together, we just were always together. But then their friend, Denise who had 2 horses at the barn built her own stalls at her house and invited Tina and Jenna to board their horses there without having to pay! Too bad we didn't hang out much outside of the stables because if we did I think we'd still be friends, but we relied soley on seeing eachother there. I remember Jenna and I went on a haunted hay ride together and that's when we really got to be friends. Then Kathy and Chris had a bon fire at the barn and all of the boarders were invited and it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life. Funny how little things mean so much. OK, well I've been rambling a LOT. I put the border on my quilt and I think it look great. I also baked a cherry pie AND a strawberry pie, AND I made some cookies. I've been so busy! So anyway, it's almost 1 am and I'm getting a lil tired. I think i'm gonna check my email too. So I'll talk to you later! ;-D
