hey, dont really pay much attention to being thrown off, your not the only one, trust me, when i bought my horse-chimahuma-I am gonna tell you the truth, we S-U-C-K-E-D! i couldnt handle him well, to me he was a stupid 4 year old brat, i hated him then! he was crazy! he bucked like, twice every lesson and stuff, when we jumped, he did all the work, i just sort of banged here and there in the saddle, it was embarrassing, i couldnt get the thing to a halt! well, it took me about 3-4 months to get mr-buck-me-off-every-chance-he-got to actually behave. i started riding in november, 2000, i bought him in august 2001 (a hell of a too soon, he was still green!) and we started getting along like really really well until march, this year! now we jump well, and he'll do what i want and even sorta kill himself if i ask him to do it... lol, well actually, it was my teacher who apparently wanted us both dead--combination of 3... 1 and 3 strides when they were SUPPOSED to be 2 and 5! lol i had to do it at a mad gallop, well, that wasnt my usual teach, i was just so stubborn to go riding that day that we ended up jumping like sacks of potatoes *ugh!* I'm real sorry about your friends, it sucks that they had to go! :( i have gotten lessons with about 3 diffrent instructors, and had all sorts of riding buddies. first I started off with my 2 best friends and it was great, then i had to change my lesson days, and got stuck with a 9 year-old who thought he was rodrigo pessoa or something, he was so annoying! his name was christian, boy, did he make me wanna strangle and kich his sorry butt! *lol* sorry for the mean things, but who would be able to cope with a kid who cant even jump a 70-inch high jump without 2 or 3 refusals before achieving it and then saying it sucks how YOU din't get your horse to jump in the exact middle of the pole? *grrrrrrr* then I finally changed to another one, he is awesome and real nice. and my lesson buddies are nice, although there's this girl who can kinda be a snob sometimes without meaning it, but she's nice. hehe. good luck with the cooking and quilt, I still dunno how to cook! but im planning on getting started at it, so we can talk about our recipes! lol well, hope to talk to ya soon! oh, we can email each other too if i forget to check the ooc board, like this whole week for instance! lol well, ill email you later, promise!
