He just stood there for a moment, at a loss as he gazed at her. He waited for the feelings that used to arise whenever he looked at her but they didn't come, not in the way they used too. So much had changed between them, it was like his psyche just didn't know how to handle it anymore so it just...stopped...handling it. His hand lifted to run down his face before he sat down in the chair, his knee's spread apart, his hands crossed over his abdomen and the files resting on his chest. "We need to talk." He stated the obvious, eyeing her from his place in the chair across from the bed. He didn't expect her to get up, she was hooked to IV's and such, he really thought she would be off of those by now but he wasn't a doctor. His jaw clenched for a moment as he let out a low breath, keeping himself calm and collected so they could have a rational conversation.
