Below the building, in the guttered and pitted street, a single, dark figure sneaks warily through the shadows. He keeps his head low and his profile obscured as he moves from shadow to puddle to guttering garbagecan fire. Finally, he pauses to peer into the sky, squinting against the drizzle still falling from the edges of the buildings and from the undersides of the slate, dark clouds overhead. His face is drawn and a bit pinched from lack of food, but there is a determination and a staunch hope in his face. He is a man with a mission...even if he isn't sure what that mission is.
