The current team's strong performance is driven by ageing stars, generational father-sons, Graham Wright trading and fortunate rookie selections. And some good coaching.

On the facts, the drafting (ex- father son) and development record for the last 5 years is not good. Even though high draft picks haven't been available, Beau McReery appears the only genuine win.

It's time for an external review into this area while the rest of the operation is going well (coaching, medical, trading, etc...). Probably time for some change to set up the future.
