For a player with his physical attributes and skill level, I'd hope for more impact.

I agree with what a few other posters have been saying about Long: he has the size, flintiness, and ball-hunting ability that most of our young players lack. It would be interesting to know why we preferred Bytel and Sullivan to him.

I thought Dean looked all right. Marked and kicked pretty well. Not sure about his upward mobility.

Jiath is the one with the highest ceiling.

I wish Harrison would get more ball. But he shows flashes, as he did at senior level last year.

Overall, though, I look at this batch of youngsters and see the cliff approaching.
