Subject: They were quite different from each other at CFC

Reg had eye catching physical input and endeavour . “ who can’t live a fully physically involved big man who competes so whole heartedly all around the ground and was very mobile “ ….that was your thought just watching him in action. He hardly needed a back up .
Your anticipation would naturally be that the essential ruck skills would gradually evolve …ie improved tapwork, one bite marking and handball plus kicking skills …naturally these will all improve with time .
If you were watching the last stanza of the Swans match today , then you know the outcome . Not even the commentators noted the spilt mark .

Witts was quite different . More physically lumbering yet more skilled in tap work and careful in decisions and delivery . You saw it today with that rushed pass to a forward under pressure . Witts is smart and a leader . He is consistent . Hard to beat . Not dominant , yet never dominated . Iwas sorry to see him go but he has built a very good career up there
