People can bang on about how it evens up over time ( rubbish) or if you’re good enough it doesn’t matter ( more rubbish) but just consider this - Carlton finished 3rd after the finals last year - they play Richmond (17th) twice North 18th ( twice) Eagles (16th) twice as well as the Saints who are cod ordinary. Not only is this an advantage it provides them with percentage boosting opportunities- virtually gaurantees them
4 free hot wins plus percentage - paving the war for top 4 and the ability to manage players heading into September- if that’s not an armchair rude to the GF I’m not sure what is - compare that to us GWS Brisbsne the other top 4 from last year. Nice set up AFL
