Hated it at first but love it now. Grew up in inner Sth Melbourne suburbs. Way too stressful for me now with traffic and ghettos popping up everywhere- let alone the homelessness and drug addicts. Geelong has plenty of issues too but if you like layback lifestyle and proximity to beaches then it’s definitely appealing - albeit if I was in my 20s again I’d be bored stiff - so for AFl players it’s a horses for courses - Geelong’s would appeal to young families with good schools and outdoor lifestyle - not sure Bailey fits that mould unless he’s a keen fisherman or surfer
