Subject: quite a decent read ..good analysis & coupla relevant pica take-aways

like PtAdel, Pica post-clearance 'ground ball gets' (differential) across the year, has been a weakness (ranking 3rd last).

however, PtAdel turned the tables & won that stat against Haw (best in the comp across the year), in last week's final.

How did they do it? i) by applying manic pressure around the ball AND (importantly IMV), ii) concentrating their defensive transition on quickly locating & running with /defending a specific player.

so the adjustment they made was, less (loose) zone defence & way more individual accountability to get goal side & pick up an opposition runner, meaning Haw had less spares running down the ground to hand-ball to (**Chinese checkers style) all the way into their A50
