Been at war with them for all of Ed’s time as pres.

The angst and anger you feel is real. I was at an afl function where one of their exec told me they screwed us over on the fixture (pre covid) but it cost him because the afl missed its crowd targets and none of them got bonuses. lol.
They do need us and they know. That exec got sacked a year later!

But you don’t expect a free hit for one zero round game? Do you?
Takes time to get an even deal from them.

Even though they took an extra $4mil off us 2 years ago Jeff & Ned managed to get 2 back (west coast didn’t). I agree it’s a slow process but give me an example of how what you propose will work. 20 years shows it won’t. Abusing and embarrassing them only makes it worse.

We have a better chance of fair fixture now the blues and hawks are drawing crowds less reliance on us.

I am with you that we should be playing our first game in Melbourne next year but first up against the swans might be a good time to get them.
