The journo didn't follow up, but who could have handled it differently? The AFL were lenient. The club went in to bat for him to convince the AFL to be lenient. He's got to be talking about either Howe or the footy boss not covering up his stuff up.

Bizarrely, I reckon he feels he was let down by being encouraged to fess up ...
