And jagging Houston, Perryman and Membrey must also hurt those whinging about a lack of a "footy boss" too.

I was never a fan of Kelly as CEO to be blunt, but there's more to our club than one individual (thanks to the concerted push for us to get rid of the McGuire autocracy).

If Carp (or whomever we vote in) doesn't rate Kelly, or if Ned is literally the stumbling block to attracting the best footy boss, then they can easily flick him.

For now, I'd be worried about the lack of a footy boss if we sucked at recruiting and had GWS level off field issues, but we are doing very well (touch wood!).
